Independent Business IT Support and Operations Specialist
Budget: €12 – €18 EUR
Independent specialist only — no agencies or teams.
We are looking for an experienced Business IT Support Specialist who can support, improve, and document a range of client systems.
This is a client-facing role covering technical support, system improvement, documentation, and planned operational work. The right person will be comfortable taking ownership of support flow, resolving issues, engaging with the wider team when needed, and improving the process each time.
Typical systems include:
Omada / TP-Link networking
Synology NAS and related services
Ajax security systems
Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs
Windows Server environments
VoIP and general business IT systems
Mixed client environments with PCs, servers, networking, and cloud-connected services
Think complete systems not single systems.
The role is not just reactive support. When a chat, email, or call comes in, most technical issues should either be resolved directly or moved forward clearly with the team. Just as important is making sure the issue improves our documentation, internal process, and future support flow.
Most of the work will involve planning, documenting, scheduling, and executing technical tasks for clients. We want someone who thinks in terms of operations, not just tickets.
You should be able to:
Communicate clearly with clients by chat, email, and phone
Troubleshoot technical issues across networks, PCs, servers, and business systems
Take ownership of support requests from first contact through to completion
Create and improve documentation, checklists, and internal processes
Plan and execute scheduled works in an organised way
Work independently while knowing when to involve the wider team
Look for ways to make systems more reliable, supportable, and easier to manage
This role would suit someone who is practical, organised, technically capable, and proactive. We are looking for a person who can help make systems better over time, not just fix the same issues repeatedly.
Please apply with a short note about your experience supporting business IT systems, especially networking, Synology, Windows PCs/servers, VoIP, or security systems. Examples of documentation, process improvement, or support ownership are especially welcome.
No long proposal is needed. We are more interested in clear experience, practical thinking, and the ability to take ownership.
