Technical Report Writing – Ethical Hacking Project (No Practical Work Required)
I am looking for a freelancer to professionally formulate and structure an academic report for an ethical hacking/penetration testing project.
Note: All practical work has already been completed by me, I will provide:
Screenshots of every task
Commands used
Tools and outputs
No hacking, scanning, or lab work is required
This is strictly reporting writing and documentation, where even the structure of the report is already formulated
Scope of Work
The freelancer must organize and write clear, well-structured report sections for the following phases:
Footprinting
Scanning
Enumeration
Vulnerability Scanning
Gaining Access
Maintaining Access
Covering Tracks
Pentest Report & Security Policy
Reporting Requirements
For each task/technique, the report must include:
Tool / Command Used
Methodology (explaining steps and what each command does)
Results (clear summary of findings)
Proper academic wording suitable for paraphrasing
Logical flow aligned with ethical hacking lifecycle
Additional Requirements
Must follow academic/report-writing standards
Clear headings and consistent formatting
Ability to reference standards (NIST, ISO, CIS, SANS) where applicable
No plagiarism; original writing only
Deliverables
Final formatted report (Word or PDF)
Content must align exactly with provided screenshots and evidence
Recommended:
Background in cybersecurity or penetration testing
Experience writing technical or academic security reports
Strong English technical writing skills
Deadline: I would expect it within a day or two
