The case consists of a multi-level international conspiracy primarily involved in narcotics trafficking, money laundering, conspiracy and racketeering. The organization, Fink Cartel, is a North-American based affiliate of a much larger Czech-based criminal enterprise currently terrorizing Central Europe. Background Information: Joe Carpenter Joe resides on the west coast of the USA, where medical marijuana is legal, he is a member of a clandestine grow operation group fronting as legitimate, licensed medical marijuana facility.
Aside from illicit drug activity, Joe has been attempting to expand his counterfeit document interests too while dabbling in the DarkWeb and Cryptocurrency and grand theft auto. Joe has been working with members of an international criminal network who specialize in money laundering and drug handling. Unknown at this stage is Joe’s involvement or what the nature of the next operation will be. Intelligence suggest he is planning to receive a package on the East Coast of the USA however the specifics are unknown. Joe was arrested and released pending further investigation.
During Joe Carpenters interview he indicated he had no knowledge of any criminal activity originating from his devices or communicating with anyone involved with criminal activity. Joe Carpenter was release from police custody and returned to the USA.
Your task is to identify the following to assist the investigators build a bigger case against the criminal organization. Conduct a traditional forensic investigation as well identify the following:
Who is the head of the operation?

Who are the main players in the group?
Identify Name, Location, Contact details
What are their roles?
What is the most likely location of the upcoming drop?
What quantities of goods are being discussed?

In this exercise you are a Digital Forensic Analyst for the Miami Field Office of the FBI.
Your job is to process the evidence using standard digital forensics best practices, conduct and document your examination and analysis process, and communicate your findings in writing, visually, and through a presentation.
The final deliverables will be an examination plan, bench notes, a detailed report of your examination and analysis, a slide deck with your key findings, a presentation, and answers to the question set provided. Each of these is a seperate deliverable.
