Detect hacker corrupting my tvbox/internet connection

I am looking for someone to help detect a hacker that is corrupting my TV box/internet connection. I believe that the hacker has gained unauthorized access to my TV box, though I'm not sure how they have managed to get in. I have some suspicions but I need them to be confirmed. My system is running on Linux. I'm looking for an experienced freelancer who can detect the hacker and ensure that my system is safe.
