Interception Driver with USB Device Switcher
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
Currently exploring a unique setup where I can utilize the Interception driver's functionality with a USB switch—a solution that presently, doesn't work. I am looking for a skilled developer well-versed in computer science and/or creating software drivers.
The solution I am trying is to explore is similar to a technology that already exists, called Dynamic Device Mapping (DDM). DDM works where the usb peripheral is always sending an emulated signal to the computer without actually being connected. This tricks the computer into thinking it’s still connected to the computer when in reality, it isn’t.
Why this line of thinking? By making sure there is an emulated connection between the USB Hub and the computer, the theory would be that the USB device would not lose its connection to the computer, and therefore would not trigger the Interception USB disconnection bug.
This software should help enhance my current project by:
- Allowing me to seamlessly switch between USB devices (specifically the keyboard, mouse, joystick, or any device connected via 2.0 or 3.0 USB Hub) while the Interception driver is installed and running.
The ideal freelancer should have practical experience in:
- Developing software for Windows OS
- Understanding of USB device functionality.
- Familiarity with Interception driver (or related software), will be a huge plus
