Write script for operation on windows 10

I would like to write a script that I could insert into task manager on windows 10. I would need the script to allow my computer to update a file, daily, from a shortcut file with any new files added to a second folder. For example, File A is the shortcut file. File B is an identical file that must be updated from file A on a daily basis
