Project:: Transient Surge / Water Hammer Simulation for Patented Hydrant Flange
Software Required: SurgePro, Anasys, or equivalent transient hydraulic modeling tool
We are seeking an experienced hydraulic modeler to run 2 separate transient surge simulations on a patented hydrant flange design. All test parameters, operating conditions, and comparison criteria will be supplied. We will also provide functional .STEP model files for each test.
Applicant must supply estimated timeframe and bid amount.
Abolutely no Outsourcing of Project. Please only respond if you can fully perform this project and have background and credentials.
Scope of Work:
- Import our .STEP model files
- Run 2 independent surge testsusing our provided parameters
- Compare new lafnge vs. standard 5¼″ hydrant flange perfromance
- Provide charts for:
- Surge energy attenuation
- Pressure spike (water hammer) reduction
- Flow rate impact
- Deliver a concise written summary of results
Requirements:
- Experience with SurgePro, Anasys, or similar transient analysis tools
- Ability to model water hammer events accurately
- **Hydraulic modeling or engineering background required**
- Must sign an IP Agreement prior to receiving all files
Deliverables:
- Simulation files for both tests
- PDF summary report
- Graphs and data tables comparing both flanges
Straightforward verification project with potential follow‑on work.
