Supersonic Aerofoil CFD V&V
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I need an ANSYS-based Computational Fluid Dynamics study on supersonic aerofoils, starting with a double-wedge section. The first and most critical milestone is a solid Verification & Validation package that proves your mesh, solver settings, and boundary conditions are reliable in the Mach 2–5 regime. Once the V&V is locked down, we will proceed to concise sweeps of Mach number and angle of attack, plus a quick comparison across four wedge variants and a handful of shock-reduction concepts.
Keep the scope for this phase lean:
• Produce a brief, reproducible V&V report for the double-wedge case (grid convergence, benchmark comparison, and sensitivity check).
• Supply the ANSYS project files, cleanly organised and fully annotated.
• Outline, in no more than two pages, how you would extend the setup to the bi-convex and dome profiles, the full α/Ma sweeps, and the five shock-mitigation designs.
To be considered, send a detailed project proposal that shows you have tackled similar supersonic CFD problems and can deliver within a tight turnaround.
