Supercritical CO₂ Turbulence Tutor

Job ID: 40541691

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I’d like to schedule two live sessions (about two hours each) with a tutor who can meet me at an advanced level of discussion on supercritical CO₂ internal flows. My chief goal is to refine how I choose and implement turbulence models for this medium, but the conversation has to stay firmly anchored to the underlying physics—heat-transfer deterioration, the governing equations that give rise to the characteristic M-shaped velocity profile, and the pseudo-boiling mechanism.

By the end of our four hours together I should be able to:
• compare and justify RANS, LES, and hybrid approaches for sCO₂ ducts;
• set up and run the selected model in software such as ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, or STAR-CCM+;
• interpret the resulting fields in terms of the thermal anomalies unique to supercritical conditions.

Deliverables
• Two screen-shared video calls (recordings provided)
• A concise slide deck or notes summarising key equations, model choices, and best-practice wall treatments
• A quick-reference sheet that contrasts turbulence models for sCO₂, with citations for further reading

If this focus on turbulence modelling within the broader context of supercritical CO₂ physics matches your expertise, let’s coordinate schedules and get started.
