Quick CFD Turbulence Reduction

Job ID: 39791693

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need a rapid CFD check-up on a small pharmaceutical classified device that will be placed in a gas stream at ambient pressure (or slightly over pressure since it is in a clean room). The sole goal is to pinpoint where turbulence is hurting performance and tell me exactly what geometry tweaks or flow-conditioning ideas will calm things down.

I will supply the STEP file, basic boundary conditions and the flow rate. You run the simulation (Fluent, CFX, OpenFOAM or a comparable solver—your choice as long as the results are reliable), interpret the velocity and vorticity fields, and come back with practical, clearly explained design modifications. A short turnaround is important because the prototype iteration window is tight (need it Monday 22/9 at latest).

Deliverables
• Native solver file plus an exported mesh and case setup so I can reproduce the run
• A brief PDF (2-3 pages) showing key contour/streamline plots, quantitative turbulence metrics and your recommended geometry changes ranked by impact and ease of implementation
• One follow-up clarification round once I review the results

If this scope is clear and you can start right away, let me know your expected timeframe and which solver you’d like to use.
