LNG Vapor Dispersion Modeling

Job ID: 39955349

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

I need a vapor dispersion model for an upcoming LNG facility we are planning in Austin. The objective is to demonstrate full regulatory compliance, drawing on recognized international standards rather than only local or federal codes.

Scope of work
• Build an accurate dispersion model for potential LNG release scenarios using a recognized tool such as PHAST, FLACS, or an equivalent CFD package.
• Calibrate the model with site-specific data—terrain, prevailing wind patterns, temperature ranges, and facility layout.
• Run credible release cases then map the vapor cloud footprint and concentration contours.
• Interpret results against the relevant international criteria for safe separation distances and public exposure limits.
• Produce a concise report and editable model files that can be submitted to authorities and included in our project HAZID package.

What I’m looking for
Experience completing LNG or other gas dispersion studies under international codes is essential. Please outline comparable projects, the software you used, and any authority approvals your work has already supported.

Time frame
I’d like to review a draft model within a week of kickoff, with the final report following promptly after my feedback.

If you can deliver a reliable, regulator-ready model and clear documentation, I’d like to hear from you.
