ICEM CFD Blocking: Curved Panel
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
The task is to generate a clean, structured blocking strategy in ANSYS ICEM CFD for a curved, steel stiffened panel that will later be used in a structural analysis workflow. Geometry complexity is simple, yet I still need a robust, easily modifiable block layout that captures the stiffener details without excessive cell count.
I will supply the CAD model and any additional dimensional notes once we agree to proceed. My focus is on achieving a high-quality hexa-dominant mesh with controllable element sizes along the curvature and around the stiffeners to ensure accurate stress prediction downstream in ANSYS Mechanical.
Deliverables
• ICEM project files (.prj, .blk) with all blocks fully associated to the geometry
• Generated mesh file ready for export to ANSYS (e.g., .cfx5 or .msh)
• Short note highlighting key blocking decisions and any parameters I can tweak for refinement
