ANSYS Fluent Channel Simulation

Job ID: 39849730

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I want a complete, step-by-step ANSYS Fluent model of a 3-D rectangular open channel so I can replay every decision and learn the workflow myself. The geometry is fixed at 5 m long, 1 m wide, and 0.5 m deep. Please create a mesh that is visibly finer along the bed and both side walls while remaining coarser in the core flow; the overall gradation should sit in the “fine” range I selected.

For the physics, set an inlet-velocity boundary condition and a pressure outlet, then run a steady-state water simulation. After convergence, extract velocity profiles at three planes: right at the inlet, midway (≈ 2.5 m), and at the outlet. Plot these profiles so the variation across depth and width is clear.

The key to this job is pedagogy, so record your entire screen from blank project to final plots, narrating slowly or adding on-screen notes so I can follow each click, parameter entry, and post-processing step without pausing every second.

Deliverables (all packaged together):
• Fluent project files (geometry, mesh, case, data).
• The three velocity-profile plots in a common image or PDF.
• The full-length screen-capture video in a widely playable format (MP4 preferred).

I will verify that the mesh shows the required refinement, boundary conditions match the specification, residuals are driven down convincingly, and the requested plots correspond to the three sections.
