ANSYS Aerodynamic Wing Analysis Support

I’m running an aerodynamic study on an aircraft wing and would like an experienced ANSYS user to walk me through the complete CFD workflow. The goal is to extract accurate lift and drag data, generate clear flow-field visuals, and map pressure distributions across the surface—all inside ANSYS (Fluent or CFX, whichever you prefer). No CAD creation is required for this assignment; we will work with a simplified wing section that is already parameterised inside the solver, so you can focus entirely on meshing strategy, solution setup, and post-processing techniques.

What I need from you:
• A step-by-step session (or documented procedure) that sets up the analysis, chooses turbulence models, defines boundary conditions, and runs convergence monitors.
• Delivery of the key outputs—lift and drag coefficients, streamlines or vector plots for flow visualisation, and contour maps showing pressure distribution.
• Brief notes on best-practice grid independence checks and how to interpret the plotted results so I can replicate the process on my own afterwards.

I’m comfortable running the software once the template is in place, but I want your expertise to be sure the physics are sound and the results credible. If you’ve tackled wing or airfoil cases before and can spare some time over the next week, let’s get started.
