Role Description
This is a fully remote, contract-based role for a CompTIA A+ (Core 1 & 2) Instructor. The role involves delivering virtual classes, creating and updating course materials, and providing support to students preparing for their certification exams. Additional responsibilities include assessing student progress, troubleshooting technical issues, and utilizing innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning. The ideal candidate will foster an engaging and effective learning environment that supports students in achieving CompTIA A+ certifications, which include hardware, software, and IT infrastructure knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
Proficiency in computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and networking concepts
Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, system maintenance, and mobile device configurations
Strong training and instructional skills to design and deliver engaging online learning experiences
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively conveying technical concepts
Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+ is mandatory), and additional IT certifications such as Network+, CCNA, or similar are a plus
Proficiency with online teaching tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), or virtual classroom platforms
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a diverse team in a remote work environment
Teaching or mentoring experience in an IT-related capacity is preferred
