As a North American reseller, I'm working with a European manufacturer of professional non-toxic art supplies like markers, refill drawing inks, and pastels. My major concern is understanding their compliance with U.S., Canadian, and Mexican mandatory regulations and the potential risks of non-compliance. The products do not have markings of ACMI compliance, conformance to ASTM D4236, or non-toxicity. I have TSCA certification and the product descriptions e.g. "Odorless, water-based ink, eco-friendly... VOC content: <1%"
I'm not sure about the specific regulations my products need to meet, and hence, looking for an expert who can help me navigate this process. The target market for these art supplies is primarily adults (18 and above), but could be used by kids too
