Subcontractor Auditors Needed for Ethical Audits

Achilles Information Limited is a UK-headquartered organisation with operations across 23 countries globally, including an established office in Sydney, Australia.

Historically, Achilles has delivered audits in Australia for suppliers and contractors of our UK- and Spain-based clients;

As part of this engagement, we are seeking qualified and experienced subcontractor auditors in Australia to support audit delivery.

Scope of Audits

The audits will follow an Ethical Employment protocol, comprising the following components:

1-day Management Audit

1-day Workers’ Interview

Each component will be reported as a separate audit. Depending on the site and client requirement, some locations may require both components, while others may require only one (either management or workers’ interviews).

What We’re Looking For

Experienced auditors based in Australia

Strong background in ethical employment, labour standards, or social compliance audits

Ability to conduct management interviews and worker interviews professionally and independently

Willingness to collaborate on a pilot project with the opportunity for future engagements

What We’re Looking For:
Prior audit experience in one or more of the following:
– Ethical employment / workforce practices
– HR, compliance, QHSE / HSE, or supply chain audits
– Construction or operational site assessments
• Strong understanding of evidence review, compliance checks, and documentation verification (including Quality, Health, Safety & Environment controls)
• Excellent communication and interview skills
• Ability to prepare clear, concise, and structured audit reports
• High level of professionalism, independence, and integrity
• Flexibility to travel for onsite audits on weekdays
• Based in Australia with availability across NSW / VIC / QLD preferred
