Qualified Responsible Managing Officer (RMO) Needed for Contracting Startup

Location: California | Remote with site visits as needed

Inamdar General Contracting, LLC is a newly formed California-based company focused on delivering high-quality general contracting services across residential and commercial sectors. We are seeking a licensed California contractor to serve as our Responsible Managing Officer (RMO) to help us meet CSLB licensing requirements and grow our business with integrity and compliance.
Position: Responsible Managing Officer (RMO)
License Type: B – General Building Contractor
Status: Part-time / Advisory Role
Compensation: Monthly stipend or percentage-based, negotiable
Start Date: ASAP
Company Status: Active California LLC
RMO Requirements:
1. Must hold an active and in-good-standing California Class B General Contractor license
2. Willing to be listed as the qualifying individual for the company with the CSLB
3. Able to provide direct supervision and control as required by CSLB, either through active participation or documented delegation
4. Comfortable with periodic check-ins, project reviews, and compliance support
5. Must not be the qualifier for more than three other active licenses (per CSLB rules)
Ideal Candidate:
1. Retired or semi-retired contractor open to consulting roles
2. Contractor looking to mentor or support a startup GC business
3. Individual interested in long-term affiliation with a growing, licensed contracting firm
Responsibilities Include:
1. Allow use of your license as the qualifying RMO for CSLB purposes
2. Provide guidance and review of project scopes and compliance matters
3. Help ensure company operations stay within CSLB regulations
4. Sign necessary CSLB documents related to licensing and renewals
5. Be available for occasional correspondence or inspection-related needs
