General Counsel for Audiology Clinic
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
Our audiology clinic currently operates seven locations across the United States and is continuing to grow. To keep expansion smooth and compliant, I need ongoing general counsel services from a business attorney well-versed in healthcare regulations and multi-state licensing requirements.
Day-to-day priorities include:
• Proactive guidance on federal and state healthcare regulations that affect diagnostic and dispensing audiology practices.
• Monitoring and maintaining all licensing and accreditation filings for each clinic location, with reminders ahead of renewal deadlines.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts (vendor agreements, leases, service provider contracts, and any new location build-outs).
• Advising on the legal structure and due-diligence steps for future acquisitions so every purchase integrates cleanly into our corporate framework.
Acceptance criteria for each engagement cycle:
1. Written compliance memo summarizing any regulatory changes and their impact on our operations.
2. A tracker showing the status of all location-specific licenses, permits, and accreditations.
3. Turnaround of contract reviews within the agreed-upon timeframe, including redline comments and final clean copy.
4. Clear, actionable recommendations for any acquisition or partnership opportunity presented that month.
Experience with mergers & acquisitions and commercial contracting will be especially valuable, but the core focus is reliable, ongoing compliance and governance support.
