FCA Crypto Compliance Documentation
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD
I am taking a UK-based cryptoasset firm through FCA registration and need a specialist to build the entire compliance document pack from scratch. The application will rely heavily on well-structured, regulator-ready policies and procedures, so that is where I want your primary effort.
Here is what I will supply: our business model narrative, product flow diagrams, and a preliminary risk assessment. You will turn these inputs into a defensible AML/CTF framework grounded in a risk-based approach and fully aligned with the Money Laundering Regulations 2017, current FCA guidance, and the JMLSG cryptoasset provisions.
Key expectations
• Draft the complete AML/CTF policy suite, including customer onboarding, screening, EDD, PEP/Sanctions handling, ongoing monitoring, suspicious activity escalation, record-keeping, and periodic review cycles.
• Embed a clear, documented risk-based methodology that ties customer, product, geographic, and delivery-channel risks back to our firm-wide risk assessment.
• Produce supporting governance artefacts: roles & responsibilities matrix, board approval minutes, senior management letters of commitment, and any ancillary registers required for FCA Connect.
• Prepare concise narratives and evidence tables ready for direct insertion into the FCA Connect portal, with page references to the master documents.
Acceptance criteria
1. Every document maps to specific MLR and JMLSG clauses and cites relevant FCA sourcebook text.
2. Language and formatting meet FCA style expectations (plain English, version-controlled, PDF-ready).
3. Submission pack passes an internal walkthrough and mock FCA interview with zero critical findings.
You should be fully conversant with FCA cryptoasset registration outcomes to date and able to reference recent supervisory feedback. Experience drafting documentation for other regulated fintechs will be highly regarded. Let’s create a submission that clears the regulator’s first-pass desk review.
