Draft Global LMS Policies
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I run an international, self-paced compliance-training platform that delivers POSH, POCSO, workplace-harassment prevention and professional certification courses to learners and organisations in India, the UK, the US, the UAE, Singapore and Canada. To support our next release on the LMS, I need a legal-drafting specialist to create a single, cohesive set of website policies that will hold up across all of these jurisdictions.
Regulatory focus
The documents must clearly satisfy the requirements of both GDPR and CCPA. If you believe additional references (such as PECR) would add value, feel free to flag them, but the primary obligation is GDPR + CCPA coverage.
Audience
Our user base spans individuals buying a single course, corporate HR and L&D teams enrolling staff in bulk, and educational institutions integrating our syllabi. The language throughout should therefore be professional yet accessible to non-lawyers.
Deliverables (separate, ready-to-publish files)
• Privacy Policy
• GDPR-specific Policy / Notice
• Cookie Policy
• Terms & Conditions of Use
• Website/Service Disclaimer
• Refund & Cancellation Policy
Key expectations
- One universally applicable version of each document, crafted to be enforceable in all target regions.
- Clear explanations of user rights (access, erasure, opt-out) and our corresponding obligations.
- Clauses that cover data collection through our LMS, mobile access, analytics tools and any third-party payment gateways.
- Commercial protections for our intellectual property, course content and certification trademarks.
- Practical guidance on where each policy should be linked or displayed on the site.
I will supply existing course outlines, data-flow notes and any vendor agreements you need. Please let me know your approach, estimated turnaround time and any questions that would help you deliver compliant, future-proof policies.
