Deliver ARCO Compliance Review Programme 2026-27
Budget: £36 – £0 GBP
Our 2026/27 Standards & Compliance cycle begins on 1 September 2026 and we are looking for a partner who can deliver the annual Compliance Review Programme for all ARCO Approved Operators. The work can be entirely remote or hybrid (ARCO is based in London), and we will schedule induction, walkthrough of our existing tools and sector familiarisation during July–August so you are fully prepared before activity starts.
Scope of the review
The programme must demonstrate that every participating Integrated Retirement Community continues to satisfy the ARCO Consumer Code. This includes:
• Transparency – with particular attention to Marketing and Advertising compliance (this is the critical test area).
• Consumer protection – ensuring residents’ interests are safeguarded in all policies and day-to-day practices.
• Complaints handling - ensuring that residents and customers can obtain redress if something has gone wrong.
Methodology
All assessments must be completed through independent reviews of members' collateral, documentation and self-audit responses. You may use video calls, screen-sharing sessions, secure document portals or any other digital workflow that meets UK data-protection requirements. On-site visits may be beneficial but are not essential. .
Key deliverables
1. Compliance review for each registered community (exact count confirmed at project kick-off).
2. A concise written report per community, highlighting findings against the Consumer Code, evidence gathered, and any compliance and good practice recommendations.
3. Annual cross-sector thematic report.
4. Annual report on Key Performance Indicators.
5. Recommendations for strengthening compliance.
