Electrical Engineer — Data Center Infrastructure (Estonia, on-site)
Role: Electrical Engineer / Data Center Infrastructure
We are building a micro data center in Estonia (100–200 kW) and looking for an electrical engineer to take full responsibility for the electrical design, calculations, and on-site execution.
This is an on-site role in Estonia. Remote-only is not an option.
Responsibilities
Design electrical schematics (power, wiring, single-line diagrams)
Calculate power loads, cable sizing, protection and control systems
Select appropriate equipment (switchgear, UPS, transformers, distribution panels)
Prepare technical specifications, BOQs, and installation documentation
On-site supervision, testing, commissioning, and fault diagnostics
Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards
Requirements
Electrical engineering background (degree preferred, but practical experience is what matters)
Proven experience in power system design (data center experience is a plus)
Strong knowledge of power electronics, converters, and automation
Ability to read and draw electrical diagrams
Familiar with Estonian design standards and regulations
Must be physically present in Estonia for the project
Format
Project-based or fixed-term contract
On-site in Estonia (no remote option)
Compensation: fixed fee or hourly rate (to be discussed)
Language: English or Russian (Estonian is a plus)
