Compliance / AML Officer (Lithuania-Based) for EU Crypto Licensing (MiCA/VASP)

We are seeking a qualified part-time Compliance Officer to support our newly formed Lithuanian crypto entity, which is in the process of registering as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP). The business will conduct a small number of high-value OTC crypto transactions per year, targeting UHNWIs, HNWIs, and corporate clients. We offer a discreet, white-glove service with rigorous attention to regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the appointed AML/Compliance Officer under Lithuanian regulations
Maintain and update the AML/CFT policy and KYC framework
Ensure full compliance with Lithuanian FCIS (Financial Crime Investigation Service) regulations
Perform onboarding, KYC, and transaction monitoring for clients (low volume, high value)
Act as liaison with Lithuanian regulatory bodies as required
Monitor and advise on any regulatory changes affecting the business
Provide occasional input into internal training and best practices|

Who We’re Looking For:
Based in Lithuania (or able to register a presence as required)
Strong experience in AML/KYC compliance, ideally in the crypto, FX, or financial services sectors
Previous experience working with or for a VASP is highly desirable
Familiarity with Lithuanian crypto regulation and FCIS reporting
Fluent in English (written and spoken); Lithuanian is a strong advantage
Reliable, discreet, and able to work independently with integrity
Comfortable with a low-volume, relationship-driven model

Commitment & Structure:
Part-time role (approx. 4–6 hours/month, flexible)
Paid monthly retainer, with scope for additional hours as needed
Long-term engagement
Will be listed as the official Compliance Officer in VASP registration
