Code-Compliant Parking Lot Landscaping Plan licensed landscape architect in Florida US

Job ID: 39901350

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

I need a landscape designer who is licensed in Florida - US, who can take a bare parking lot layout and turn it into a fully code-compliant plan that will sail through our local approval process. My top priority is meeting every regulation that applies to plant spacing, sight-line clearance, tree counts, and any screening requirements around the perimeter.

Here is what I’m looking for:
• A scaled planting plan showing exact locations, quantities, and mature canopy spreads.
• A species schedule that demonstrates compliance with local plant lists and placement rules.
• Notes or a brief memo that ties each element back to the specific sections of code, making it easy for the city reviewer to check off.
• A concise maintenance guideline so the property manager understands pruning and irrigation needs.

Plant selection and placement are the compliance areas I must nail. I haven’t chosen specific species yet, so feel free to recommend native, drought-resistant, or seasonal flowering options—whatever satisfies the ordinance and looks good year-round.

I can provide the civil site plan in DWG or PDF and the relevant landscape ordinance excerpts. Deliver the final package in PDF plus the editable CAD or vector file so we can tweak if the city asks for revisions.

If you’ve shepherded parking-lot landscapes through permitting before, especially in similar climates, I’d love to see examples.
