TopStar Ventures LLC is an auto-transport brokerage specializing in vehicle shipping logistics. We connect vehicle owners (individuals, dealerships, and auctions) with carriers nationwide, ensuring safe, timely, and compliant transport.

Role Overview:
The Operations Manager will oversee the brokerage team, manage carrier and shipper relationships, ensure compliance and operational efficiency, and drive continuous improvement in our processes. This person is the key link between the owner, brokerage staff, carriers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate brokerage staff: brokers, dispatchers, and customer service reps.

Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for quoting, booking, dispatching, tracking, and delivery.

Oversee carrier sourcing, vetting, and management to ensure carriers meet all requirements.

Maintain compliance with all regulations related to auto transport brokerage.

Manage customer relationships and ensure excellent communication and service.

Review and negotiate carrier contracts and pricing; monitor rate trends.

Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery times, carrier performance, and profitability.

Identify inefficiencies and implement process or software improvements.

Collaborate with sales and marketing to maintain a steady flow of leads and bookings.

Manage budget and profitability of brokerage operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

3+ years of experience in auto transport brokerage or freight/logistics operations.

Strong knowledge of carrier vetting, load boards, brokerage compliance, and TMS/CRM tools.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

Ability to analyze performance metrics and improve results.

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Proven problem solver who can handle operational challenges effectively.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or supply chain management.

Experience specifically in vehicle shipping and auto transport.

Existing network of reliable carriers.

Experience managing remote or virtual teams.
