AML/CFT Compliance Officer for MSO License

Designated AML/CFT Compliance Officer – Hong Kong MSO License Application (Annual Contract)
We are applying for a Money Service Operator (MSO) license in Hong Kong (Customs and Excise Department) and need a qualified compliance professional to be formally appointed as our Designated AML/CFT Compliance Officer for the application process.
This is a low-commitment independent contractor role — estimated 10–20 hours total — suitable as an additional appointment for someone already working in compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Be formally named as AML/CFT Compliance Officer in the MSO license application
• Satisfy C&ED fit & proper assessment for the role
• Draft or review the AML/CFT Policy and Procedures Manual required for licensing
• Be available for C&ED queries during the application review period
Requirements:
• Experience with HK MSO licensing or HK-regulated financial institutions
• Working knowledge of AMLO (Cap. 615) and HK C&ED MSO requirements
• Hong Kong-based (mandatory)
• Willing and eligible to be formally named as CO on the application
• CAMS, ICA Diploma, or equivalent preferred
Contract type: independent contractor, annual contract
Time commitment: ~10–20 hours total (application phase)
Location: Hong Kong-based required; remote work otherwise
