Market Analysis & Research Assistant
Budget: €2 – €6 EUR
I need reliable backup on the consumer-research side of my marketing workload. The core of the role is market analysis, with particular emphasis on two angles: a sharp competitor analysis and a clear read on emerging industry trends that could affect our positioning.
Here’s how I picture the collaboration working:
• You gather relevant data from public filings, industry reports, trade publications, social listening tools, SimilarWeb, SEMrush or any other resources you trust.
• You turn that raw information into a concise slide deck or written brief that highlights key competitors, their moves, product lines, messaging, pricing, and any whitespace you spot.
• You layer in macro-level trend insights—technology shifts, regulatory changes, consumer behavior patterns—showing how each one might open risk or opportunity for us.
• All findings roll up into an executive-ready summary with clear citations and a spreadsheet of underlying figures for my own deep dives.
Accuracy and clarity trump volume; I’d rather have a tight, well-argued ten-page report than fifty unfocused pages. The first assignment will be a single market segment so we can agree on format and depth; if that goes smoothly, I’ll feed you additional sectors on a steady schedule.
Please let me know any previous projects where you performed similar competitor or industry analyses, and what data sources or frameworks you find most effective.
