Virtual Assistant for Sourcing Freight Forwarder in Thailand (Import Shipment Support)

We are seeking a skilled and proactive virtual assistant with expertise in export-import services to assist in finding a reliable freight forwarder in Thailand for our project. This job focuses on handling the importation of a flagship booth shipment from Portugal to Thailand. The shipment details, including the packing list and commercial invoice, are already prepared.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and recommend a local freight forwarder in Thailand that meets the following criteria:
A legitimate company with an official website, Google Maps reviews, and active social media accounts.
Provides Importer of Records (IOR) services and can act as the consignee for customs purposes, as the final client in Thailand does not have an import license.
Offers customs clearance services.
Can manage the payment of import taxes and duties.
Issues an invoice addressed to our company (not personal invoices).
Important Note:
Our company will handle the air freight shipment, including transportation costs and insurance. Therefore, the freight forwarder does not need to provide air freight services as part of their quotation. The focus is solely on customs clearance, tax/duty payments, and acting as the consignee.
Additional Information:
Your primary objective is to obtain quotations from potential freight forwarders in Thailand for our operational team to review.
Multiple options are encouraged to compare reliability, responsiveness, and competitive pricing.
Payment will be made on an hourly basis. A $100 bonus will be awarded if the shipment is successfully delivered to the final client in Thailand.
We are looking for a freelancer who is detail-oriented, responsive, and experienced in logistics and international trade. This is a short-term project with significant impact, so your ability to deliver results promptly is crucial.
