The HR Administrator assists in supporting employees assigned to Skanska USA Civil business units. The HR Administrator will support with administrative tasks including electronic filing, employee inquiries, recruitment processes, and programs.

What You’ll Do:

Partner directly with the HR Services team to ensure all administrative requests are communicated clearly and aligned with established workflows, ensuring that transactions are completed accurately, and in a timely manner.
Support alignment within and across business units and execute business processes with IT, Communications, Legal, Payroll, Benefits Related Subject Matter Experts, etc.
Support a recruitment experience that engages New Graduates, Interns, and other candidates including posting of positions, vetting and screening applications, scheduling and participating in candidate interviews with local management teams, and maintaining and supporting work practices that specifically improve the candidate and new employee experience.
Administration of background checks, orientations, new hire paperwork, terminations, and exit interviews.
Administration of company Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Referral Programs.
Assist with tracking performance metrics for the yearly talent review process.
Maintenance of electronic files and confidential personnel records.
I-9 Administration.
Respond to verifications of employment in coordination with payroll as needed.
Assist with reporting, data analytics & tracking, and preparation of presentations.
Tracking of training completions and records for statutory training requirements.
Collect incoming HR mail.
Respond to unemployment benefit audits.
Ensure all recurring invoices are accounted for and submitted to AP workflow in a timely manner. Apply initial coding for manager approval.
Other duties as assigned or required.
Occasional travel to supported projects/office locations.
