Community Engagement & Comms Expert Needed

COMMUNICATIONS AND ENGAGEMENT PROFESSIONALS - FULL TIME 12 MONTH ROLE (MIN.)
We are an award-winning communications and engagement agency currently preparing to deliver a major community-facing infrastructure project on the Sunshine Coast.
We are assembling a dedicated team of eight experienced communications and engagement professionals to support project delivery. These roles are instrumental in helping shape community understanding, build trust, and engage key stakeholders in one of Queensland’s most significant transport initiatives.We are hiring for:
1. Information Centre Communications & Engagement Officers (4 roles)
Location: Sunshine Coast (based onsite at the Information Centre)
Role focus: Community engagement, enquiries, public interfacing, events and information sessions
Skills needed: Excellent interpersonal communication, ability to explain complex information clearly, friendly and professional in-person presence.
2. Stakeholder Engagement Officers (4 roles)
Location: Brisbane or Sunshine Coast
Role focus: Proactive engagement with key stakeholders including government, business, and interest groups
Skills needed: Strong stakeholder engagement background, strategy execution, issues management, relationship building, written communication
Requirements for All Roles:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in communications, engagement, or public affairs
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong understanding of best-practice community and stakeholder engagement (IAP2 preferred)
* Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
* Experience on infrastructure, government or transport projects preferred but not essential
* Available to commence on short notice
