Communications Manager for national cancer charity

A maternity cover role to develop and deliver Lymphoma Action’s marketing and communications activities.

• 12 months maternity cover
• 21 hours or 3 days per week
• Freelance rate c.£195 per day
• Closing date: 12 noon, Wednesday 8 February

We are looking for a creative Communications Manager to cover the maternity leave of our current Manager and to work in a small, but highly dedicated team. You will develop and deliver our communication strategies and campaigns, be our ‘brand guardian’ and take responsibility for our email marketing programme. This is the perfect role for someone who is:

• Able to think and work strategically
• ‘Hands on’ with excellent organisational and planning skills
• Experienced in digital communications and website management
• Has exceptional communication and written skills
• Is highly creative and able to devise campaigns that engage, inform and motivate

Lymphoma Action has developed a great working culture that focuses on delivering the best outcomes for people affected by lymphoma, as well as prioritising a creative, inclusive and supportive environment. Lymphoma Action is the UK’s only charity dedicated to lymphoma, the UK’s fifth most common cancer. We’ve been providing expert information and wide-ranging support for more than 35 years, helping thousands of people affected by lymphoma.
