I am having trouble accessing my CP3 and PAC2 devices using SIMPL. D3 and Toolbox. I can ping the devices but the software can't/won't connect.
Right now I have a problem I can’t resolve and my technical support guy struggled as well. SIMPL, VTPRO and Toolbox are all failing to connect with my processor. The processor is out there – it is working and it pings at the designated ip address. When I first try to access it I get a message- “The device at 10.0.0.200 has sent the following logon banner: It is strongly suggested this device be configured as per the secure deployment guide in order to provide the greatest security.” (This message started appearing when I upgraded to a series 3 processor from series 2.) After I click on OK I get a popup that says “ “. After an very long wait I get a second popup that says “Cannot get any device information for the connected device. Cannot run the SIMPL debugger.” I really need some help figuring out what the problem is and how to correct it.
I am hoping to get on the phone with someone and fix the problem.
