I'm seeking a professional web developer to facilitate the migration of our existing e-commerce site from Magento to WordPress. We aim to enhance user experience, ensure mobile responsiveness and optimize site speed to improve overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Migrate approximately 3000 products from Magento to WordPress (WooCommerce)
- Ensure all product details, images, and categories are accurately transferred
- Implement a 'Request a Quote' functionality instead of a payment gateway
- Migrate existing blogs to the new platform
- Transfer up to 15 static pages (e.g., About, Services) ensuring all content and images are correctly displayed
- Create a simple, clean, and template-based website that is visually appealing and easy to navigate
- Migrate all SEO data including URL structure, meta descriptions, image tags, and more
- Ensure the website is mobile-friendly and optimized for other devices
- Optimize the website for search engines to maintain and improve search rankings
