Historical Fiction Scene Recreation
Budget: $1,000 – $2,000 USD
I need a photo-realistic video recreation of a historical fiction series' dialogue scene. The video should be 90 to 105 seconds long, using the ComfyUI stack and related AI generative tools.
Requirements:
- Accurate depiction of characters and setting based on the series.
- High-quality, photo-realistic video output.
Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in ComfyUI and AI generative tools.
- Experience in creating photo-realistic videos.
- Strong understanding of historical fiction aesthetics.
Project Description: Use the ComfyUI stack and related AI Generative tools to recreate 90 to 105 seconds of a photo-realistic video of a scene from a historical fiction streaming series. The scene will contain approximately 30 shots - 26 with two characters and 4 with three characters. The video must be uncompromisingly photo-realistic, including having the characters facial gestures and spoken lines reflect the rich emotional subtext of the scene.
Background Information: In early 2024 a proof of concept video was created in Unreal Engine using motion capture technology to capture the actor’s performance. This POC did not achieve professional quality results. Recently, ComfyUI and AI video generation tooling has matured to the point where it is possible to create higher quality photo-realistic videos but it has still been challenging to block multiple characters in a scene and set up multiple camera shots and movements, while maintaining overall consistency. Recent improvements in these technologies indicate that it may be possible to reproduce a true cinematic experience with control over character movement and camera settings. Almost all AI generated videos typically contain one character or if more than one, they are not interacting in a sophisticated way.

The ComfyUI video is indicative of the photo-realistic fidelity that can be accomplished. The objectives of this project is to get to the next level of cinematic creativity by creating ComfyUI work flows, in conjunction with other video applications, to create complex scenes of multiple characters and shots.
The attached spreadsheet, “Shot reference images and descriptions” contains screen captures of the shots in the UE POC that are to be reproduced, as well as descriptive information about each shot. In addition the attached zip file includes multiple documents and folders containing materials that were used to create the two POC videos, such as
• The Pale POC Scenes V3 – the script of the original POC. For this project only pages 3-4 are relevant.
• The Pale POC Shot List – the shotlist of of the original POC
• Documents containing character and shot prompts
• A folder with 18th century library reference images
• A folder with costume reference images
• Folders containing reference images for each of the characters

In addition there are documents that provide information about me and the series I have written and in the process of producing.
Once you have reviewed the various documents please contact me only if you have the knowledge, experience and skill set to accomplish the objectives of this project and we will arrange a video call. Work will begin immediately upon identifying the appropriate talent. The budget for this project is $2,000.00 and I would like to see it completed within four (4) weeks.
