High-Interaction Lifestyle Photography Character Swap

Job ID: 40548743

Budget: €1,500 – €3,000 EUR

Job Title: Senior ComfyUI Architect: 8K Lifestyle Photography Character & Garment Swap (High-Interaction Locations)

Project Overview:
We need an enterprise-grade ComfyUI pipeline to swap characters and garments in high-end, real-world lifestyle photography shots.

The Context:
Multi-character situational photography in varied real-world locations (e.g., a couple interacting at a restaurant table, a couple relaxing in a spa, a couple Nordic walking, walking through a sunlit park, or interacting in a hotel lobby).

The Absolute Constraint:
The pipeline must not generate new poses, expressions, or background interactions using text prompts. It must dynamically extract the exact skeletal positions, finger/hand placements, physical body overlaps, and subtle facial micro-expressions directly from the original "stand-in" models.

The Core Challenge:
The physical interaction between the characters (e.g., holding hands, an arm around a shoulder) and their environment (e.g., shadows from trees, ambient spa lighting, restaurant table reflections) must remain completely intact, natural, and believable.

The Output:
Magazine-quality, hyper-realistic 8K resolution images ready for glossy print and large-scale posters.

Required Pipeline Architecture & Deliverables:
The successful freelancer must deliver an annotated ComfyUI workflow (.json) executing these exact stages:

1. Interaction & Expression Extraction (No Text Prompts for Form):
Utilize advanced extraction architectures—such as LivePortrait or Advanced ControlNet (OpenPose + Depth + Canny)—to pull the exact body geometry, finger placements, and facial structures out of the source stand-in models. It must perfectly preserve instances where characters physically overlap or touch.

2. Multi-Character Regional Identity Injection:
Use localized masking paired with separate, multi-instance IP-Adapter FaceID / InstantID configurations. This forces "Character Reference A" onto Model A and "Character Reference B" onto Model B without identity bleeding while strictly locking their original expressions.

3. Context-Aware Virtual Try-On (VTON):
Use localized masking and frameworks like IDM-VTON or advanced inpainting to transfer the garment reference images. The clothing must warp realistically around the specific body shapes and adjust naturally to the poses (e.g., stretching properly during Nordic walking or folding naturally while sitting at a restaurant).

4. Environmental Lighting & Shadow Integration:
Maintain 100% of the original lifestyle background plate. Use advanced composition tools (like IC-Light, precise math blending nodes, or lighting control layers) so that location-specific ambient light (e.g., sunlight filtering through park trees, warm restaurant lighting, or spa steam/reflections) wraps seamlessly and realistically around the new characters and outfits.

5. Print-Ready 8K Tiled Upscaling:
A non-destructive, multi-stage tiled upscale workflow using high-end models (e.g., 4x-UltraSharp) paired with a tight FaceDetailer pass (denoise under 0.25) to generate ultra-sharp skin pores and fabric weaves without creating creepy AI hallucinations.

Additional Requirements:
- A sample image should be delivered within this week for client approval. Ideally using one of my photos with swapped characters; if not feasible at this stage, freelancers can provide high-resolution before-and-after example images for review.
- The final workflow must include complete documentation along with links to all necessary nodes and models.
- The output must be high-resolution suitable for print.
