Slapstick Animation Shorts Scriptwriting

I’m putting together a series of ultra-quick, 30-second animated sketches and I need a comedy writer to bring the gags to life. Each clip follows Marshall—a My-Name-Is-Earl-type marshmallow who’s endlessly optimistic, sarcastic, and always trying (and usually failing) to do the right thing—and his laid-back, perpetually buzzed buddy Toke, a literal psychedelic bud.

Tone & style
• Pure slapstick: think quick physical bits, visual punchlines, and fast-payoff setups.
• Everyday life situations: parking disputes, grocery aisles, office printers—mundane spaces that let the sight gags pop.

What I need from you
• A batch of concise scripts (about 120–140 words each) that can be performed in roughly 30 seconds.
• Each script should open with a one-sentence logline, followed by simple action/dialog beats.
• Reusable end-button: Marshall’s good deed backfires; Toke tosses in a chilled one-liner.

Acceptance criteria
1. Dialog fits within a 30-sec read-through.
2. Visual humor is clear enough for an animator to storyboard without extra explanation.
3. Character voices stay consistent: Marshall’s eager sarcasm vs. Toke’s mellow haze.
