Adult Sketch Comedy Performance

Job ID: 40291450

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

Need a short, hilarious comedy skit (2-3 min) parodying a boring city council grant presentation. Actor plays a regular guy watching the meeting, doing a ‘buzzword drinking game.’ Start sober and professional, then take a (fake/real) shot of whiskey every time the speaker drops one of these clichés:

On boarding briefing

Shovel ready projects
Marching orders
Shotgun approach
Not going to leave any stone unturned
We have an open door policy

Best way to get this done to a team effort
There is an on boarding process
They ( congress) is kicking the can down the road
We’re going to hit it hard

. Because this is sketch—not stand-up—physicality and ensemble instincts are important, and a touch of improvisation within the scripted beats is welcome to keep everything feeling alive.

Deliverables I’m expecting:
• One fully rehearsed, 5 minute sketch, captured in HD video
• At least one rehearsal session with me over video call to shape pacing and refine comedic beats.
• Final file delivered in a common format (MP4 or MOV) if we go the recorded route.

Time start:17:48
Time stop 26:08

Key parts of the video with clichés can be clipped to make video shorter in project. More doable. Doesn’t have to be complete report from start to finish.
