Sentimental Birthday Montage Video Editing

I have a folder full of clips and scanned photographs of my friend that I’d like woven into a single, 5–10-minute video showing the past few years. The tone I’m after is sentimental (but not cringe), soft pacing, gentle transitions, and just a vibe that pulls at the heart without feeling overly dramatic. Think warm colour grading (maybe a bit of fading that gives an old time feeling at the start if its not too sappy), maybe bit of storyline. (just make sure videos blend well)
You’ll receive all raw assets in a shared drive, already roughly arranged by year. I need you to curate the best moments, clean up shaky footage, colour match photos with video, mix in one or two licensed background tracks (not needed if music overpowers). Motion graphics should stay minimal this piece is about emotion.

When you respond, please include a concise yet detailed project proposal outlining:
• how you plan to structure the narrative (share examples if you have any similar)
• the software you’ll work in
• an estimated turnaround time and revision process

Deliverables I expect at hand-off:
• Final video in 1080p (and a 4K render if upscale is feasible) in MP4/H.264 (I want to put this video on DVD so I guess consider that in the creation process if needed)
• Separate high-quality audio-only export for review
• Editable project file
