20-Minute Documentary Colour Grading

Job ID: 40029816

Budget: £250 – £750 GBP

I’ve wrapped shooting on a 20-minute documentary and now need an experienced colourist to bring the footage to life. The overall look I’m after is warm and inviting; skin tones should feel natural and rich, while highlights retain a gentle glow.

Several sequences will need extra care:
• Interviews – balanced, flattering skin tones without losing the ambient warmth.
• Landscape shots – golden, cinematic hues that still respect true-to-life greens and blues.
• Action moments – consistent warmth yet clear separation between fast-moving subjects and background.

I already have a reference film that perfectly captures the mood, and I’ll share both that file and a small sample of my raw footage before we start so you can match the palette precisely.

Preferred workflow is DaVinci Resolve, though I’m open to Premiere Pro + Lumetri if that’s your strongest toolset.

The film was made on Premiere, so I can export as mp3 if that is easiest for you.

Deliverables
• Fully graded 20-minute master ready for final online up-to 4K.
• Project files or exportable LUT so future tweaks stay consistent.
• One round of revisions after the first pass to fine-tune the look against my reference.

If this sounds like your wheelhouse, let’s talk timelines and get this film glowing.
