Fast-Paced Hackathon Highlight Reel

I’m looking to turn raw footage from our recent scientific hackathon into a two-minute, fast-paced burst of energy that captures the best of the on-stage presentations and speeches. The vibe I want is sleek, modern and slightly edgy—what I’m calling an “opium” aesthetic—with punchy cuts, kinetic text, glitchy overlays and bold color grading that will play perfectly in a social-media feed.

The source material is almost entirely podium and demo shots, so the storytelling has to come from creative pacing, rhythmic sound design and quick visual callouts: animated lower thirds for speaker names, subtle motion graphics to highlight key data points, and a dynamic intro/outro built around the event logo. Please keep the aspect ratio and safe zones friendly to vertical and square crops; the primary release channel is social media, but I may also repurpose it for screens at future events.

Deliverables
• Final 2-minute master in 1080p (H.264)
• Social-media-ready cutdown if the master is widescreen
• Source project files (Premiere Pro, After Effects or DaVinci Resolve)

Acceptance criteria
• Momentum never drags—every moment should feel intentional and forward-moving
• Audio levels balanced, with background track and speaker voices clearly separated
• Color grade consistent and modern; no flat or washed-out frames
• All motion graphics on-brand and spelling-checked
