Documentary Boomer Video Editing
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a collection of original recordings that explore the everyday experiences, challenges, and humor surrounding the boomer generation, and I need them shaped into a polished talking head piece running roughly 10–20 minutes.
The core of the job is for you to find and weave the footage into a cohesive narrative that feels true to classic storytelling—smooth pacing, clear structure, thoughtful use of titles or lower-thirds, and audio that carries the story without distraction. If you feel that subtle motion graphics, light color grading, or even carefully sourced archival cutaways could elevate key moments, I’m open to your creative judgment as long as the final product retains an authentic, documentary tone.
Deliverables
• One export-ready video (1080p or higher, H.264) between 10 and 20 minutes
• A version with and without embedded subtitles
• Project file (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve) with organized bins and clearly labeled sequences
Acceptance criteria
• Narrative flows logically from intro through conclusion with no abrupt jumps
• Ambient sound balanced and dialogue clearly audible throughout
• Color and levels consistent across all shots
• Final runtime falls within the stated range
Send a quick note about your preferred editing platform, a link to a past documentary-style project, and an estimated turnaround time for a first cut. I’m ready to share the footage as soon as we agree on the workflow.
