I’m preparing a new release for July and want the accompanying video to feel more like moving art than a straight performance clip. The direction is clearly conceptual, leaning heavily into symbolic imagery rather than a literal narrative.
Here’s the flow I have in mind: I’ll capture a handful of bespoke shots on my end—mainly close-ups and performance fragments—then hand those over to you. Your task is to weave those elements into a cohesive, symbolism-rich edit built around carefully chosen stock footage. Think arresting visuals, layered meaning, and seamless transitions rather than location-based storytelling.
What I need from you
• Creative development: translate the song’s themes into an abstract visual language that fits a conceptual, symbolic style.
• Footage curation: source high-quality royalty-free stock clips that complement my material and feel thematically unified.
• Editing & compositing: blend everything together with thoughtful pacing, tasteful effects, and smooth color work.
• Final delivery: one full-length master (HD or 4K, whatever you recommend), plus a short social teaser.
Acceptance criteria
1. Visuals clearly reflect a symbolic rather than literal interpretation of the lyrics.
2. My self-shot footage is integrated seamlessly with stock content—no jarring quality or color mismatches.
3. Final render delivered in agreed format, along with project files for any future tweaks.
