I have a batch of raw footage that I want transformed into a polished, cinematic-style YouTube video. The goal is to give it the look and pacing you’d expect from short-form documentary pieces: rich color grading, smooth transitions, tasteful speed ramps, atmospheric sound design, and clean lower-third titles that feel part of the picture rather than bolted on.
Here’s the flow I picture:
• I’ll share the source clips, my rough narrative outline, and any must-keep takes via a shared drive.
• You arrange the story, trim dead space, add engaging B-roll where it helps the pacing, and balance dialogue with royalty-free background music.
• Final delivery should be a 4–6 minute 4K file, YouTube-ready (H.264), plus the project file so I can re-edit later if needed.
I normally work in Premiere Pro, but DaVinci Resolve is fine as long as the finished export meets the same quality. Color consistency, clean audio, and cinematic transitions are the top priorities.
