Cinematic Social Media Video Editing
Budget: ₹4,000 – ₹5,000 INR
I’m producing a series of short educational / tutorial clips that need to feel polished, cinematic, yet perfectly suited to Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. Footage will come from my side; what I need from you is the editorial magic that turns raw takes into visually engaging pieces with smooth pacing, tasteful transitions, colour-graded consistency and sound balanced for mobile and desktop viewing.
Because each platform has its quirks, aspect-ratio optimisation and subtle reframing are essential. Vertical versions (9:16) should put key teaching moments front-and-centre for reels and TikTok, while a widescreen cut (16:9) must flow seamlessly for YouTube. Motion graphics such as lower-thirds, chapter pop-ups and on-screen text should complement the footage without overpowering it. I favour gentle push-ins, clean cross-dissolves and cinematic LUTs over jump-cuts or flashy effects; the goal is clarity and immersion, not distraction.
The person should guide me about the latest trends and should be familiar with hooks.
Deliverables per video
• 9:16 master (1080×1920) and 16:9 master (1920×1080) in H.264 MP4
• 60-second and sub-15-second teasers derived from the main edit
• Project files (Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve) with all layers intact
• Captions file (SRT) and a burnt-in captions version for silent autoplay
Acceptance criteria
• Edits feel smooth and storytelling-driven, average pace ~120 bpm cuts
• Colour grading matches reference samples I provide
• Audio peaks do not exceed –1 dBFS; loudness around –14 LUFS
• Final files delivered via shared cloud folder, named to template spec
