Cinematic Short Vlog Editor Needed
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m producing a series of personal vlogs and want each clip to feel as cinematic and polished as the reference short I included: https://youtube.com/shorts/sUl3SHwe5S4?si=EFzlH757gvSdtstu
You’ll receive raw footage shot on a mirrorless camera. Your job is to shape it into punchy YouTube Shorts that match the reference in pacing, energy, and overall look.
Key touches I expect throughout the edits:
• Thought-through color grading that creates a cohesive, film-like palette
• Well-timed slow-motion moments to accent key beats
• Creative but seamless transitions that keep viewers pulled forward without distraction
Audio sweetening, basic sound design, and tasteful text or graphic callouts (when it serves the story) should round out each edit.
Typical runtime per piece will sit around 30-45 seconds. I’ll share shot lists and music preferences up front, and I’m happy to provide feedback on a first draft before you finalize.
Deliverables
1. Final 1080×1920 (vertical) MP4 ready for YouTube Shorts
2. One revision round after initial review
3. Project files (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve—whichever you work in)
If you thrive on cinematic flair and can turn around tight, engaging cuts, I’d love to see a sample reel or links to similar short-form work you’ve completed.
