Cinematic Drone & Travel Video Editor — Tenerife Project (D-Log grading, Apple-style)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
About the project
I'm a professional photographer (studio "Photofloh", Germany). I'm looking for an experienced cinematic editor to cut a travel/aerial project filmed in Tenerife, plus a smaller separate home-region set. This can turn into ongoing collaboration if it goes well.
Footage
100+ GB total
Drone footage in D-Log / D-Log M (color grading required)
DJI Osmo Pocket 4 footage, 9:16, incl. 240fps slow-motion
Scenes include: aerials over the harbor, boats & sailboats, cruise ships, water splashes, top-down spinning "carousel" shots over the waves, night flights, sunsets, doves in slow motion
Deliverables
Homepage hero video — 16:9, silent loop (Apple-style, must work fully muted). The same cinematic base should also work as a short 9:16 social reel with music.
YouTube version — 16:9, longer, with sound/music.
Teaser — 9:16, for Instagram Reels + Story.
Vlog (standalone project) — full long-form for YouTube + several short 9:16 standalone clips for social.
Separate short home-region video — different location/mood, kept apart from the Tenerife edit.
What matters most
Color grading from D-Log / D-Log M is the top priority. Cinematic, film-like look.
Strong editing and cutting to the beat.
Clean, minimalist, Apple-style edit for the hero piece.
Confident with both long-form and short-form / vertical social cuts.
Music
You do not need to source or license music. I provide it from my own licensed library/subscription. We'll select and arrange the music together — your focus is grading, cut, and timing. This is a collaborative project, not a fire-and-forget delivery.
Workflow requirement
You review the complete footage before cutting and send me a short scene overview / shot log first. I filmed many deliberate, complex shots — I want them found and used, no skimming.
Style references (grading & editing aesthetic, not piloting): Denis Barbas, Matthias Dangl.
To apply, please send
Your showreel / portfolio (drone + travel + cinematic grading preferred)
Examples where you graded D-Log / Log footage
Your rate and estimated turnaround
Confirmation that you'll do a full-footage review first
Budget and deadline: see the project fields. Footage will be shared via download link after selection.
