I have roughly two hours of footage from a recent get-together, captured in a series of short clips under uniform lighting. While the clips need to be stitched into a single timeline, my main focus is on the color work: I want a cool, cinematic grade with soft, muted tones that lets the people and atmosphere speak for themselves without harsh contrast.
Here’s what I’m after:
• Assemble the clips in sequence, handling any basic trimming or transitions.
• Balance exposure and white balance so everything feels cohesive.
• Apply a consistent cool, cinematic palette, keeping the tones soft and slightly desaturated—no crushed blacks or over-sharpened highlights.
• Return a high-quality master file plus the editable project file (DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut—whatever you prefer).
