internship table with checkbox and hyperlens
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
Google Sheet for high school students exploring careers (21 career categories).
This sheet must include:
- a header with space to indicate the student's name, the name of their internship company, the name of their employer, and the company's phone number.
- a complete list of careers that I will separate by category myself, so there must be a column next to each career with a drop-down menu for the actual category and a color for each.
- next to each career name, there must be a checkbox to confirm that the student has seen the information for that career.
- next to the name of each career, there must be a column where the student will note whether or not the career interests them (yes, no, maybe), with a different color for each.
- they must be able to click on the categories that interest them, where they said YES, and put them at the top of the list. - There should then be columns with a diagonal stripe, and in each box, there should be an icon (example: mechanic = 1 column. Clicking on the image of a descriptive sheet takes you to the official Ministry of Education online profile, so I should be able to insert a clickable link).
- In the top right corner, we should be able to see the progress of the student's research, as they should be able to view the careers and specific information for those that interest them.
- If possible, there should be a document for each student (max. 20) so that the teacher can have an overall picture of their students' progress.
- If possible, can each document be viewed by a student separately, or is the shared document visible to all students? (single access to their page only, not all students).
the right columns must be able to contain words to insert hyperlinks.
I've left you images of what I liked circled in RED in the photos. I'll be adding more elements as the school year progresses, so this project starts with an internship chart, but doesn't end there.
