A dynamic form that autopopulates user input into a set paragraph of text.
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a set of code I can copy and paste that allows a user to input various elements (characters, setting, antagonists, etc.) and have those custom elements automatically inserted into a prefabricated set of text. The user fills in blanks on the form and the form generates a content overview including those components. A more sophisticated version of what can be found at https://www.coolgenerator.com/story-plot-generator or https://www.plot-generator.org.uk/
For example, the story summary might be:
Red is a young girl living in a forest village who must leave her mother's house to get food and medicine to her grandmother while avoiding a hungry wolf.
The elements that the user can change might be:
-Main character name: Red, Lucy, Gordon, Vatesh, Xian, Lenova, Haru, Bob, etc.
-Main character parent type: Mother, father, foster mother, uncle, etc.
-Main character elderly relation: Grandmother (“Granny”) or Grandfather (“Pop-pop”).
-Location: Forest village, country town, small city, etc.
-Animal antagonist: Wolf, lion, bear, snake, etc.
Once the user inputs their custom elements, the form would show them a story overview with their custom components:
Gordon is a young boy living in a small city who must leave his father's house to get food and medicine to his grandfather while avoiding a hungry snake.
I would like to be able to do the following:
1: Use the code to create new versions of the generator for different kinds of stories (mystery, romance, self-help, etc.).
2: Be able to change the amount of elements on the form and their labels since different kinds of stories / content will have different element types and amounts.
I’m most comfortable with HTML (by no means savvy, but comfortable), but if you think it’s critical that this generator be created in a different language, that’s fine. As long as I'm able to adjust the paragraph text afterwards, I'll be good.
In the end, I’d like to have a page that has a library of these self-contained forms that create multiple paragraphs of output for easily-customized story / content overviews based on user input.
Deliverables
A single block of functional code. In theory, I would be able to paste it onto the page where I want it and it would operate as a stand-alone form / application.
